Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her support and dedication to bettering South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) providers in the course of an engagement with the company's senior professionals in a strategic setting up session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled during the 2024 matric final exams.
On the 724 156 full-time learners who registered with the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% of your registered pupils in the education sector.
These learners realized a commendable pass rate of 86%.
